Today there are many structural calculation programs, all of them generalised and standardised. All too often they restrict design freedom and force you to give up what you really wanted to build.

As long as there are singular buildings, there will be a need for structural calculation theories that make it possible to build everything your imagination can design. At Ingeniería Estructural Plus we know them and know how to apply them. Focus on designing: we will design and calculate the structure your creation needs.

The software is a tool, not the structural engineer

Structural calculation is not about entering data into a computer application based on algorithms that have no overall view. Programs are aids: just as nobody would call a saw a ‘carpenter’, an application is not a structural engineer.

Before calculating, you have to understand the structure: model the loads it will bear as faithfully as possible, know the ground and choose the appropriate calculation theory. Only then does it make sense to use the right program.
